A medical frame, followed to the letter

Soléa follows the WHO ICOPE strategy: monitor the intrinsic capacities of people over 65, and maintain them through daily activity.

Day 2

A full geriatric assessment on international scales.

Day 11

A measured discharge summary, given in writing to the attending physician.

The five capacities we follow

Each step is a capacity measured on day 2, worked on during the stay, and measured again on day 11.

  1. Cognition

    Memory, attention, speed

  2. Mobility

    Strength, balance, walking

  3. Nutrition

    Intake, muscle mass

  4. Mood

    Sleep, social connection

  5. Vision and hearing

    Everyday sensory landmarks

Five areas, two a day

Twelve days, a steady rhythm

Two medical moments frame the stay. Between them, the days alternate water, walking, memory, and time in the country.

Transfer, settling in, and a Tunisian welcome dinner.

  2. Day 2

    Opening assessment

    Geriatric evaluation and personal goals.

  3. Days 3-5

    Finding the rhythm

Hydrotherapy in the morning, cognitive awakening in the afternoon.

  4. Days 6-10

    Tunisia and technology

A heritage outing, biofeedback, and a life story.

  5. Days 11-12

    Assessment and departure

A measured comparison, and the life story handed over in person.

The 12 days in detail

Progress you can see on a screen

Two tools support cognitive awakening. They draw curves, and those curves leave with you.

Heart coherence

A finger sensor shows your score in real time. Breathing becomes visible, and therefore learnable.

EEG neurofeedback

A light headband and a concentration game: attention is practised session after session.

Heart coherence

The country is part of the care

Two and a half hours from Paris, a mild climate all year, and a culture of hospitality that makes each day easy to live.

  • The climate

The softness of the Tunisian coast allows walking and outdoor workshops throughout the year.

  • The Tunisian table

Olive oil from Sfax, oily fish, market vegetables: the Mediterranean diet in its local form.

  • The pine woods

Pine and eucalyptus forests a few minutes from the sea, for guided forest bathing.

  • Heritage

Carthage, Sidi Bou Said, the medina of Tunis: the visit becomes an exercise in memory and orientation.
